Alkaline booed and bottled in Surinam
It is said that Jamaican dancehall artiste Alkaline had to cut his performance short in Surinam last weekend, after he was booed by several visitors that didn’t take like the lyrics of the young artiste.

According to eye witnesses, the artiste was in the middle of singing one of his controversial songs when the audience began to boo the artiste and throw bottles on the stage. Sources say Alkaline tried to perform through the boos, however when missiles were flung to the stage, he had to cut his set short.

Alkaline is famous for his sexually laced lyrics and was condemned by some Jamaicans after the young deejay endorsed anal stimulation in one of his songs earlier this year.

According to someone claiming to have been at the venue where the bottling occurred, bottles were thrown because the police wanted to cut Alkaline’s performance short.

Dancehall artiste Tommy Lee Sparta was also booked for the show.
