Sister Nancy features in new Stylo G video “Badd”

Lyrical badman Stylo G is back with “Badd” the follow-up single to his Top 20 hit “Soundbwoy”. The video was shot during the colorful festival of London’s Notting Hill Carnival.

Reggae icon Sister Nancy takes care of the hook for this song, and what kind of catchy hook it is! After reaching out to Sister Nancy it became clear soon that the vocals from her 1982 classic hit single “Bam Bam” would be re-recorded and updated for this release.

This song has got a heavy drum and bass influenced beat with influences of the 90’ies Bam Bam Riddim (Sly & Robby).

In between recording songs for his debut album UK based artist Stylo has been busy touring extensively including performances at Glastonbury, Wireless and Reading & Leeds festivals as well as at Toddla T Sound’s Notting Hill Carnival bash.
