Vybz Kartel trial: Jury selection continues
The jury selection in the murder court case of dancehall star Vybz Kartel is continuing for the third day as the selection could not be completed again today.

This afternoon Justice Lennox Campbell pardoned two of the nine jurors who had been selected yesterday, November 17.

One of the possible jurors said that he was recently promoted at his position of employment and was afraid for losing his promotion. Another potential juror told that he is a musician and a caterer and he said that he is busy at this time of year.

The jury selection continued with only two more jurors being enlisted. Three more jurors are needed to have a full jury of 12 to work on the Vybz Kartel murder trial.

Justice Campbell said he might have to renew the list of potential jurors November 20 to have a bigger pool to pick jurors from.

In the meantime, the judge asked about the witnesses and the investigating police officer said that four civilians are available. He added that the police are having issues contacting with two other witnesses.
