The streets are talking about the transformation of Savage into a real contender in the world of dancehall.

The 29-year-old deejay has a new combination with Beenie Man called Dollars A Turn, that is bombing radio into submission, and a new drive to flip the dancehall game on its head.

“Right now, internationally, the song is getting spins on IrieJam radio in New York, 99 Jams in Florida, and on stations in the UK. so that is a great look for my career. big respect to Beenie Man and Snowcone,” Savage said.

Once a member of Mavado’s Gully Squad, Savage is now signed to Victory Squad Entertainment.Known for his unique voice and versatility, he has a newfound depth and maturity to go along with his provocative lyrics.

“There are things that I know now about publishing, about recording and voicing, that I didn’t know a year ago. So in all things, time is the master,” Savage said.

Savage, real name Simon Daley, hails from Grants Pen, St Andrew. He started singing in church and was influenced by friends and family to get into the music industry.

“Bounty Killa say fi rise, suh mi a put in di work,” the St Andrew Technical High School past student added.

In the next few weeks, Savage will be amping up his presence in the streets and the media.

“My manager, Snowcone, said that we will be shooting the video for Dollars A Turn and also the combination with Chris Martin called Give It To Her. so the presence ah go step up,” Savage said.

He has an armada of new songs, including two new singles on the K Natural Entertainment label, Bruk Back and Fiesta, and a club banger on the Frassout Records label dubbed Nah Gwaan Well.
