Bounty Killer’s Triumphant Return to UK Soil After 15 Years

After a long 15-year wait, the iconic Dancehall artist, Bounty Killer, has finally set foot on British soil, and the “5-star general” couldn’t be happier about the occasion. To mark this joyous moment, he shared a series of clips on his social media platforms, spreading the excitement with his fans and followers.

Just three weeks ago, the renowned “Poor People Fed Up” deejay revealed that his British visa had been reinstated. This stroke of luck couldn’t have come at a more opportune time, coinciding with the release of his collaborative EP with Cham, titled “Time Bomb.” Demonstrating their visionary approach, both artists seized the opportunity to promote their project in the UK.

Bounty Killer’s visa struggles are well-documented, and he’s not alone in facing such challenges within the Dancehall community. Back in 2010, he, along with fellow Dancehall giants like Beenie Man, Sizzla, Aidonia, and Mavado, had their U.S. visas revoked. At the time, the U.S. Embassy provided no specific reasons for the revocation, but they later reissued visas to Aidonia and Mavado.

Fast forward to May 2020, fresh calls emerged for the reinstatement of both Beenie Man and Bounty Killer’s U.S. visas. This appeal gained momentum after the duo’s unforgettable performance on the VERZUZ show, where they showcased their talent and left a lasting impression.

When asked about his feelings on returning to the UK, one of Bounty Killer’s supporters inquired, to which he responded, “Elated that I’m anointed.” His return was met with warm wishes and regards, even from the Queen of Dancehall herself, Spice, who left her heartfelt comments in the social media conversation. The Dancehall legend’s triumphant return to the UK marks a significant milestone in his career and a moment of celebration for fans around the world.
