There are also a number of other exciting acts lined up that should make this year extra special for music lovers, including Miss Kitty who will have a close-up view of the action. “It’s my third time hosting Sumfest. Third time’s the charm and I am very happy to be hosting with Richie B and GT Taylor. To be the female on a stellar line-up like that, among the best of the best in the dancehall fraternity, I feel good about it,” she said. “I will also be hosting the Digicel stage on Friday and Saturday, which is absolutely amazing because this year at Reggae Sumfest it’s like an explosion of Digicel brand ambassadors: I-Octane closing, Tifa performing, Tessanne Chin performing, Bambino also hosting.”
She will also be among the hosts on Dancehall Night that will also feature Bounty Killer, Mr. Vegas, Ninjaman, Popcaan, Aidonia, Assassin, Alkaline, Bugle, Spice, Kalado, Baby Tash, Ryme Minista and Gage.
“Dancehall is the biggest night where all Jamaicans come out to see their favourite act and I feel really good about it. I have to say thanks to Tina May Davis, Johnny Gourzong and the entire Summerfest Productions for including me in such a beautiful line-up,” she said promising to bring her own brand of entertainment to the package. “This is a big year for Reggae Sumfest, the vibe and the buzz and I am looking forward to a wonderful show, bringing the Miss Kitty vibe, as usual, and Miss Kitty brand tun up loud. Bere new tings. It’s gonna be hot, it’s gonna be hot.”
