The Artizonals, Mickey Shiloh, and Aynzli Jones join forces this fall to give the world insomnia. This talented trifecta re-imagines Wayne Wonder’s 2003 mega-smash “No Letting Go” into a sexy contemporary dancehall masterpiece titled “Insomniac.” Driving Diwali Riddims, massive bass lines, and Shiloh’s lascivious new top-line are bound to keep listeners busy on the dance floor and up all night in the bedroom.
B. Steele of the Artizonals and Mickey Shiloh initially developed “Insomniac” together during the Spring of 2012 after a chance meeting at Atlantic Records. But as luck would have it, Mickey’s exploding writing career penning hits for artists such as Iggy Azalea, Pitbull, and Janet Jackson and Benny’s non-stop production and engineering work with artists such as Frankie J, David Guetta, and Jason Derulo forced the song onto the back burner until the stars realigned in the Summer of 2015.
After reconnecting, Shiloh and Steele decided to finish what they started and release “Insomniac.” To help finish the track, B. Steele brought in his production team, The Artizonals (Stereo Lif and Bleu Bailey), and Jamaican rapper/reggae artist, Aynzli Jones.
