When it comes to I-Octane and dancehall music, he is definitely considered in the big leagues. Years ago, I-Octane put out a single hit song called “Stab Vampire” which landed him number 1 on the music charts. For the same song, he won an award for Video of the Year at the “Excellence in Music Awards”. “Stab Vampire” put I-Octane on the radar and ever since, his popularity has hit the ceiling.
Even since then, he put out a numerous amount of hit songs such as “Love Di Vibes”, “Hold Her in My Arms”, “Wine and Jiggle”, and “Buss a Blank” just to name a few.
When listening to I-Octane, you can determine that he is a voice for the ghetto youth, justice, love humanity, and Jamaica itself.
This time I-Octane has now paired up with Patron House Production for an anticipated hit song called “Don Talk” on the Evidence Riddim. This is the very first of many riddims to come under Patron House Production. This professionally developed riddim will have you swaying side to side and I-Octane gives this song a nice rugged feel and voice over this riddim. Just by listening to the lyrics over this riddim you can determine that I-Octane is on the verge of taking over dancehall. This song is going to push I-Octane and Patron House Production to higher heights.
Jah Vinci
Jah Vinci has come a long way in the music industry and his experience surely shows it. His mother and father were both singers and he has genetically received the gift of singing. Growing up within the church and singing on the church choir just enhanced his skills to higher levels.
Prior to being the great recognized artist he is today, Jah Vinci basically lived in the studio and his hard work eventually paid off. Jah Vinci drew the attention of Vybz Kartel, which he impressed and shortly after, Jah Vinci became part of the Portmore Empire.
Jah Vinci brings so much versatility to the table on any riddim he is on, which makes him extraordinary. Songs such as “Watch Yuh Friends, Soul to Keep, Remedy, When the Party Hot and Cyah Walk Alone”, shows he can sing any note, in any key, to any riddim.
Jah Vinci has now blessed us with a song called “Love Angle” on the “Evidence Riddim” produced by Patron House Production. Jah Vinic sings about love and seeing it from a different angle with a twist. He sings about the hardships of being in a relationship from a man’s point of view and perspective when dealing with a spouse.
The collaboration of Jah Vinci’s voice and the excellent musicianship of Patron House Production gives you a song that you cannot resist to listen to.
D’Angel
Everyone knows that Jamaica is full of talent, and if you are talking about talent, Michelle “D’Angel” Downer’s name has to be mentioned in that category.
Throughout her career, D’Angel has had a ton of experience under her belt. As a child, everyone knew she was destined to be what she has become today. She began singing in front of friends and family, which soon lead to her performing in her classroom at school, to concerts, and school parties.
D’Angel decided to broaden her horizon, by getting into the fashion world and pursing a modeling career with brands such as “ROCAWEAR”. On top of that, she became an entrepreneur and opened her own fashion boutique called “Angel’s”.
Acquiring all of these skills of being a singer, model, and entrepreneur, she realized music was her priority and passion. She dropped a hit single song called “Downtown Girl…Livin Uptown” which climbed the music charts of being number 1. Then came songs such as “Baby Father” featuring Vybz Kartel, Hustling Ladies, Talk is Cheap, Don’t Hate, and Stronger, which became heavily played songs on the radio.
With all her success, trials and tribulations come and go. D’Angel was once married to the “King of Dancehall” also known as Beenie Man which eventually ended in a devastating divorce.
During an interview with Winford Williams, from OnStage Tv, D’Angel says music is her healing and she is breaking free.
D’angel shows her growth by teaming up with Patron House Production, by creating her new song called “No Stylings” on the “Evidence Riddim”. In this song, D’Angel displays her strength, independence, and achievements. On this well composed riddim, D’Angel encourages the ladies to be independent, be who you are, and do your own thing. This is definitely the new ladies anthem.
